My name is Mohamed Almoalem. I am a mechanical engineer, who is keen to learn new things, and to apply that knowledge with an intention of benefiting the industry, and the community. I enjoy research and development, and mathematical analysis. I am quite competent in the engineering design field, and in solving analytical heat transfer case studies. Recently, I got involved in learning and using basic electronics and micro-controllers.

Industrial Experience:

Mar 2017 – Sep 2018: Automation Engineer in BFG International

  • Applying mechatronics engineering in solving complicated problems and transforming the company to the first industry 4.0 company in Bahrain.
  • Worked on establishing connectivity with 3 KUKA robots in the factory floor. This provided experience in dealing with the KUKA software environment.
  • Basic PLC and HMI experience by using Ladder logic.
  • Basic experience in IoT and NodeMCU programming to gather data from sensors. Some external sensors were attached to the existing machinery to continuously monitor the status of robotics and send that data via WiFi.
  • Researching and validating modern technologies that could be applied to increase the functionality of new production plans and projects.
  • Providing solutions that are related to wastewater treatment, and designing some of the components of the system.

    over 7 years of CAD and FEA experience
